ILOILO – Alarmed by the potential ripple effects of the escalating conflict in the Middle East on global energy supplies and electricity costs, Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. is convening the province’s Community Defense Cluster this Friday, March 6, to prepare contingency measures that include possible energy-saving policies and adjustments in government work arrangements.
ILOILO – To accommodate more tribes and further highlight the culture and tourism of Iloilo province, the provincial government is studying the possibility of making the Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan a standalone event, independent from the Dinagyang Festival.
ILOILO – The Provincial Culture, Arts, History and Tourism Office (PCAHTO) is encouraging all 43 local government units (LGUs) in Iloilo Province to enact local ordinances to safeguard their cultural and heritage sites.
