This historic edifice symbolizes the spirit and substance of the noble and heroic movement which set aflame the hearts of men and women who ignored uncertainties, inconveniences, and even death in the name of love of country and democracy. Their names are now legend. Their patriotic deeds are now part of history. The people of this region highly appreciates what the war veterans, their widows and orphans, have done in order to erect this war memorial specially the Greater Manila Chapter of the 6th Military District.
